Word Around the Block: Get Moving in Minneapolis

We are half way through summer and most of us are enjoying getting outdoors and exploring Minneapolis. There are so many ways to enjoy the outdoors in the city: walks by the river, enjoying one of our many parks, and outdoor workout classes! Here are just a few of our favorite workout classes to get you moving!

Outdoor Yoga at Lake Hiawatha
Enjoy socially distant, outdoor classes all summer long at Lake Hiawatha! This BIPOC-led community by Samadhi Yoga MPLS offers classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays on the West side of the lake (look for the white sign). Pay what you can, $5-$30 (or sign up for an unlimited membership!). Weather cancellations will be notified at least 2 hours prior to class start. All levels and humans welcome. Register online here.

YogaFit Burn at the Ballpark
YogaFit Studios is very excited to host a free community-based Burn class at Target Field Station! This free class takes place this Sunday, July 19th, at 10am. This full body, one hour class accommodates all fitness levels! Get ready to get moving and have fun. Marks are required! Register online here.

Alchemy 365
Alchemy 365 just rolled out their new virtual classes, Alchemy 365 Anywhere. While you don’t technically do this outside, but think it is better if you do! And best part is, you can do it anywhere in Minneapolis! Out on your balcony or in your local park (socially distant of course!) Check out their new program here.
