Intro to Bridgewater Lofts
Just a few steps short of Gold Medal Park you’ll find Bridgewater Lofts, one of the largest condominium projects in the Mill District neighborhood.
Newly constructed in 2007, Bridgewater boasts more than 280 contemporary one, two and three-bedroom units. The loft-like interiors feature crisp, open floor plans, oversized windows and hardwood floors.
Other features at Bridgewater include a rooftop pool and hot tub, an onsite fitness room and a two-level community center. The ground floor also houses a diverse collection of retail shops and businesses.
The U-shaped design of Bridgewater Lofts wraps around a small historical building on 11th Avenue South. The building, which has been converted into residential and commercial space, housed a brothel on the 11th Avenue red-light district in the early 20th century. Today, it’s the only surviving bordello structure in Minneapolis.
WINE LOVERS WELCOME
Wine connoisseurs at Bridgewater have access to private storage lockers on the 1st floor. These climate-controlled cellars are regulated at 55 degrees and 58% humidity.
Inside Bridgewater you’ll find clean, bright interiors punctuated by thick concrete pillars and uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling windows. Though Bridgewater isn’t a true loft conversion, glossy hardwood floors, open kitchens and 10-foot ceilings create a contemporary loft-like atmosphere.
A variety of floorplans exist at Bridgewater Lofts. Individual units range in size from 1,055-4,043 square feet and feature their own private balcony.
